Who is Rylee Collins?

I’m a visual storyteller, my work blends bold surrealism with unconventional narratives, pulling from a deep-rooted love for nostalgic aesthetics and symbolic color theory. Whether through fashion design or production design, I create immersive worlds where every detail is intentional, where spaces and characters aren’t just seen but felt.

My creative process is shaped by the hyper-stylized surrealism of Nadia Lee Cohen, the era-defining style of Cher, and the meticulously crafted worlds of Wes Anderson. These influences fuel my approach to composition and symbolism, where color isn’t just decorative, it’s a storytelling tool that shifts perspectives and evokes emotion.

Building my personal brand has been a huge part of my artistic self-discovery. My muted black and gold logo reflects my multidisciplinary identity, designed to feel organic yet familiar. The Oswald typography, clean, readable, but distinct, nods to my 70s influences while staying timeless. Every design choice serves as an extension of my creative direction, allowing my work to feel both visually dynamic and deeply personal.

Moving forward, I want to push creative boundaries by integrating AI-driven design tools and 3D modeling with my skills in thrifting and sourcing. This mix of physical and digital design will open new doors for forecasting trends, experimenting with patterns, and creating work that challenges norms while expanding artistic expression across multiple disciplines.
